Listings and policies, as they change
A copy of every product page and policy, and a new copy when one changes. A dispute months later shows what the customer saw when they ordered, even if the page has changed since.
A chargeback lands, the money is held, and the evidence is scattered across Shopify, carrier pages and emails. RebutCase gathers it into a response where every sentence cites an exhibit. You review it. You submit it.
In review on the Shopify App Store. Free plan with two response packs a month, billed by Shopify only, no share of any refund.
Sample dispute, order #1001. Evidence due in
Shopify shows the bank's reason, the amount, and a date by which evidence is due.
“Cardholder states the merchandise was not received.”
Order, shipping, the address it went to, the customer's history, your policies. 6 exhibits, pulled from Shopify, each with its source.
The response, a timeline and every exhibit become one PDF, saved to the dispute in Shopify. RebutCase never presses submit. You do.
It goes to the store's contact address, the money goes on hold, and the clock starts. Shopify will send the order, the address and the tracking on the due date, with a defence it writes for you. It cannot send the proof only you have: messages, photos, signatures, the policy the customer agreed to.
“The bank isn't reading a story, they're checking whether you rebutted the one specific claim.”
“The proof exists, but it is scattered across Shopify, carrier tracking, emails, screenshots, refund timestamps, and policy pages.”
“The only feedback I get is “the customer’s bank sided with them”.”
Answered from the sample dispute by the same engine that runs on your store. The gap is real: the sample has no customer messages, so the app asks for them before the deadline.
107 words on the sample dispute, built by the engine without a model. A checker rejects any sentence whose facts are not in the exhibit it cites. Point at a sentence to see its proof.

The bank asked anyway. The response names the day it arrived, the address, and three earlier orders, each with its exhibit.

Most of what a good response needs exists long before a dispute. RebutCase keeps it from the day you install.

Watched.
When a customer who disputed before places a new order, you get an email before it ships. Your decision, not a fraud score.
Measured.
Shopify and the card networks step in at 1.5% over 90 days. RebutCase works out your rate from your own orders and sends it every Monday.
A sample chargeback on order #1001, from the alert to the evidence pack. Captions are on, so it works without sound.

A fraud claim and a parcel that never arrived need different proof. RebutCase runs the checks that fit the reason the bank gave, rates the case Strong, Fair or Weak, and says plainly when the evidence is thin.

Shopify sends order, address and tracking details on the due date, with a defence written for you, and RebutCase keeps all of it. RebutCase checks what is still missing for this dispute, asks for the evidence only you have, like messages and photos, and writes a short response where each sentence cites an exhibit, so you can see what each claim rests on before you submit.
No. RebutCase only saves evidence to the dispute. You press Submit now in Shopify, or Shopify sends the saved evidence on the due date.
Each sentence is built from your store's data, and a checker rejects any sentence with a fact, number or date that is not in the evidence it cites. If a draft fails twice, a plain template-built response is used instead.
Nobody can promise that, and we will not. The bank decides every dispute. RebutCase shows how complete your evidence is and says plainly when a case is thin, so you can decide whether to respond or accept.
It reads Shopify's evidence first and fills only empty fields. If it would replace anything, it shows the old and new text side by side and waits for your tick.
Today, yes. The app saves the text fields, and you attach the PDF on the dispute page in Shopify. The app shows the steps.
Stores on Shopify Payments, in any country where Shopify Payments runs. The app is in English. It does not handle PayPal or other gateways.
We request only the access we need, encrypt personal data at rest, mask it before any AI call, never log names, emails or card details, and delete dispute data 90 days after the dispute closes.
