About RebutCase
RebutCase is made by Zoviotech, a small software studio run by Aamir, a software engineer based in Pakistan. It is the studio's first product, built in 2026 and submitted to the Shopify App Store on 23 October 2026.
Why it exists
Before writing any code we read what merchants say about chargebacks: app reviews, Shopify Community threads and surveys. Three complaints came up again and again. Apps that submit evidence without the merchant seeing it. Responses that read like a template and ignore the reason the bank gave. Billing that is hard to predict, with a share of every recovered amount and fees per alert. RebutCase is built against those three.
The rules it follows
- Every sentence in a response cites an exhibit from the store's own records, and a checker rejects any sentence whose facts are not in the exhibit it cites.
- It never submits. It saves the evidence to the dispute in Shopify; the merchant presses Submit, or Shopify sends the saved evidence on the due date.
- It never promises an outcome. Strong, Fair and Weak describe the evidence, and the cardholder's bank decides every dispute.
- Flat monthly plans billed by Shopify, with a free plan. No share of any refund, no fee per alert, and billing stops when the app is uninstalled.
- Customer data is encrypted at rest, masked before any AI call, never logged, and deleted 90 days after a dispute closes.
How the guides are written
Every fact about Shopify on this site comes from the Shopify Help Center, with the date it was read shown on the page. The guides do not quote win rates, from us or from anyone else, and they say plainly when the honest answer is to refund.
