Terms of service
Effective 22 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you, the business that installs RebutCase on a Shopify store, and Zoviotech (Zovio Technologies), a software business based in Pakistan that makes and runs RebutCase ("we"). By installing or using the app you accept these terms, our privacy policy, our billing and refund policy and our data processing addendum. If you install the app for a business, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.
The service
RebutCase collects evidence from your Shopify store for disputes on Shopify Payments, checks it, rates the case, writes a response that cites the evidence, builds a PDF evidence pack, and saves the response to the dispute in Shopify when you ask it to. It also sends deadline alerts by email. We may improve or change features over time. We will not remove a core feature you pay for without telling you at least 30 days before.
Who may use it
You need a Shopify store and must be at least 18. The app is for business use only, not for personal or household use. Use it only for your own store's disputes.
You decide and you submit
RebutCase never submits evidence. You submit in Shopify, or Shopify sends the saved evidence to the bank on the due date. You are responsible for reviewing every response before it is sent, for the notes, files and text you add, and for meeting Shopify's and the card networks' deadlines and rules. Never use the app to send evidence you know is false or misleading.
Responses are drafted from your store's data, partly with the help of an AI model, and every sentence is checked against the evidence. Even so, a draft can be incomplete or wrong, so read it before you save it. The app gives general information, not legal or financial advice.
No promise of outcomes
Banks and card networks decide disputes. We do not promise that any dispute will be won, that any amount will be recovered, or that a case rating predicts the result.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed by Shopify, in your Shopify invoice, in US dollars, at the prices on the app's plan page. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. A response pack counts against your monthly limit when you save a response for a dispute to Shopify; saving the same dispute again does not count again. You can change or cancel your plan, or uninstall the app, at any time. Refunds, plan changes and price changes follow our billing and refund policy. We give at least 30 days' notice before a price increase applies to you.
Your data and content
You keep all rights to your store data and to the notes and text you add. You give us permission to use them only to run the app for you, as described in our privacy policy and data processing addendum. You confirm that you may share your store and customer data with us for this purpose.
Our app
We own RebutCase, its code, design, guides and brand. While these terms apply, you may use the app for your store. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Fair use
Do not try to break, overload, copy or reverse engineer the app, get around plan limits, access another store's data, or use the app against the law, Shopify's terms or the card network rules. We may suspend access that harms the service, other merchants or customers. Unless the harm is urgent, we will warn you first and give you time to fix it.
Other services
The app runs on Shopify and uses other providers listed in our privacy policy. Shopify's own terms apply to your store and to billing. Shopify is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app.
Availability
We work to keep the app available and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be down or wrong. Shopify can also change or limit the data we read. Always keep an eye on your dispute deadlines in Shopify as well, especially close to a due date.
Warranties and liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims about the app is limited to the greater of the fees you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim and US$50, and we are not liable for lost disputes, lost revenue or profits, chargeback fees, or indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of evidence, notes or files you added, or because you used the app against these terms or the law, you will cover our reasonable costs of that claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling cancels your plan, and we delete your store's data as our privacy policy describes. We can end these terms with 30 days' notice, or at once if you seriously break them. If we ever stop offering RebutCase, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can finish open disputes. Sections on liability, indemnity and the law that applies continue after the agreement ends.
Changes to these terms
We post changes here with a new effective date. For changes that matter to you, we tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, uninstall the app.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan decide any dispute about them. If you have a consumer or business protection right in your own country that cannot be excluded, it still applies. Before any formal claim, please email us so we can try to solve the problem together within 30 days.
General
These terms, together with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement about RebutCase. If a part cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right now does not waive it. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent; we may transfer them to a business that takes over RebutCase, and we will tell you if we do.
