Chargeback evidence, saved before you need it
For stores on Shopify Payments. RebutCase keeps a copy of your product listings and policies from the day you install, watches for repeat disputers, and answers each chargeback with a short response where every sentence points to a document. Flat monthly plans, no cut of your recoveries.
Before a dispute
- Evidence vault. Saves each product description and store policy whenever it changes. When a customer disputes an order months later, the response shows what they saw when they ordered, even if the page has changed since.
- Repeat disputer alerts. Emails you when a customer who disputed before places a new order, so you can check it before you ship.
- Chargeback rate. Shows your dispute rate next to the 1.5% line where Shopify and the card networks step in, and a weekly summary by email.
When a dispute arrives
- Lists the dispute with its evidence due date and emails you when it arrives and when the deadline is close.
- Collects the order, the card's address (AVS) and security code (CVV) results Shopify recorded, fulfillment and tracking, customer history and your policies, plus notes and files you add.
- Checks the evidence for gaps and contradictions and rates the case Strong, Fair or Weak, with the reasons and what to add.
- Quotes the reason the bank gave, which you paste from the dispute in Shopify, so the response answers the bank's actual question.
- Drafts a response in which every sentence cites an exhibit, shows which exhibit answers each question the bank asks, and builds a PDF evidence pack with a timeline of what happened.
- Saves the response into the dispute's evidence in Shopify. You review and submit there, or Shopify sends it on the due date.

What it does not do
- It never submits evidence for you.
- It never invents facts: if the evidence is thin, it tells you so.
- It cannot promise an outcome. The bank decides every dispute.
